Winter’s cold winds
Over spring greens.
Shivering tulips bent.
Frozen blossoms present
Snow best left
In unending winter.
Charm of a cool princess
Aloof, yet turning colourful
Day’s sunshine calls for
The evening’s open fire,
To prolong cosy winter time
With the joys of a beautiful spring.
Happy Sunday 🙂
Hello friends! Today Spring has started officially, I was certainly aware of it, but unfortunately I had been busy! It was a dark spring day, windy and cool. These images are from last year. There’s no blossom yet, like snowdrops everything is a bit running late this year. Nature behind schedule? It seems, it can be…
I wish you all a truly happy Spring, full of smiles and love ❤
Spring has sprung here…During the last few days we have been having sunny, mild days, no rain, and no strong winds. Just bird songs, or should I say “Spring Songs” ? Because nature is singing: early flowers are in full bloom. They are not only full of colour and fragrance but also full of music. This happens each year, but this year I must confess I had lost hope when the snowdrops didn’t show up on time, the early heralds of spring. Now they are all there among narcissus, hellebore, grape hyacinths, and crocuses…All together!
I wish you a happy Monday, a very happy new week, but most of all an exciting Spring full of laughter and love 🙂
PS. These photos are from yesterday!
Gentle breeze, slowly warming sunshine. Calmness before the life juices climb to the highest branches, present precious buds, blossoms. Silence in expectance of a conductor’s baton to a cheery, buzzing spring symphony…Light ballet of the most beautiful butterflies, and sleepy bees. My late snowdrops give the start sign.
Just around the corner.
Soon, very soon…
On the last Sunday of April I opened my eyes to a light snowed garden…It won’t stay of course but weather forecast on television is calling for light snow during the day as well…I hope the capricious April won’t spoil the blossom as it happened two years ago.
I wish you all a peaceful and happy Sunday with your beloved ones or in solitary bliss…
PS. The images come from the same moments of sunset in my garden.
Time to take in every waking moment to observe the changes, blooming plants, colours, fragrances…We need to see and smell Spring! Forget about your concerns and worries, just look around you how beautiful nature is…Spring beauties do help us to calm down.
I wish you a beautiful weekend with smiles…
