It’s so hot where I live that one doesn’t even want to step outside. Shadows won’t help if there is no breeze. Birds aren’t eating, water is all they want. Flowers are wilting, our daily life is disturbed annoyingly by heat. So you may understand why I keep on praising rain all the time.
I hope you’re happy in whatever circumstances you find yourselves in. Enjoy a well-earned weekend with smiles 🙂
PS. No editing, as is…
I read a recent newsletter from Tree People. Without knowing it I’ve been a tree person most of my life. I love trees. I like to sit under the shadow of an oak tree when it’s too hot in the sun. I like to watch squirrels climbing up and down the trees. I can’t stand woodpeckers trying to destroy my beautiful trees. I remember my sorrow a few years back when we lost five tall pine trees in a storm. It was very sad seeing them down. Here I’ll give you the site you can read “22 of the best reasons to plant and care for trees or defend a tree’s standing”:
I wish you a fine day, a fine #treeTuesday 🙂
Greetings to you all with an old friend. Gladioli are blooming beautifully as I posted recently on bethsflorals.com These are the pink ones with a touch of cream colour: Gladioli Pink Lady.
I wish you an amazing new week in health and happiness.
The days are getting shorter now, yet it’s still warm; it is still summer. Bird feeding time is gone from even before 5 am to after 6.30. An hour ago while feeding Jade before the house we could hear a fox’s scream nearby, in my garden: Eerie…I still don’t dare to go out even though I know they are not dangerous to humans. That’s my morning!
I hope you will enjoy happy moments, happy times this weekend…
