There are days we patiently wait for our weekends with a long list of things to do. We wish that our weekend will be full of excitement, happy moments, and better food than during the week. Often it’s a real good time to enjoy, sometimes nothing much ticked off from our carefully planned list! Does it matter? As long as we find some rest, enjoyable moments with laughter and happiness along the way.
For me this weekend will be spending wonderful time with my son: the birthday boy, and worry about my cat that is poorly again.
I do wish you an unforgettable weekend 🙂
A year ago I was having fun with flowers, I still do! Flowers brighten my days, they cheer me up daily. They make me smile to world in spite of difficulties….I hope you are enjoying them as much as I do….
I am sorry I just noticed that this post is supposed to be in my other site: bethsflorals.com….
Two years on my garden is still full of thistles which are standing where they please. I let them, because I love them.
Have a wonderful Thursday 🙂
Beautiful green with heartwarming pink
You stole my heart with your Scottish link
Growing freely in my garden, tall and grand
Planted everywhere by a mysterious hand.
Proud, handsome and pleasing to eye
For my beloved country a freedom cry
From mountains to valleys, and sky
All over the world your seeds will fly…
According to the Article 2 of the French Constitution dating from the 28 September 1958, the national motto of France is ‘Liberty, Equality, Fraternity’. Now one of the symbols of sovereignty part of the national heritage, it derives from the ideals developed during the Age of Enlightenment.
“We are here by the will of the people and shall not leave our places save by the force of bayonets” (Nous sommes ici par la volonté du peuple et nous n’en sortirons que par la force des baïonnettes) – Mirabeau, 23 June 1789
I wish you all a fantastic new week! This week’s #macromonday subject is Turmeric flowers. On my site: https://betulaworldpress.com/ I present white, greenish flower macros, on my flowers site:
https://bethsflorals.com/ you may find the pink turmeric macros….
Curcuma longa is a sterile triploid organism that has evolved through natural selection and propagation. A relative of ginger and sharing similar growing conditions, it is a hybrid of the wild turmeric found in Southern Asia, with India being the predominant producer of growing turmeric plants for trade. Turmeric can also be found in China (where it has been cultivated since the seventh century), Jamaica, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Nowadays we can buy them from flower markets, or florists as tall, beautiful plants with stunning flowers. Almost each year I buy them, they die down leaving me behind with the photos. These were bought from a recent flower market…
Happy Monday 🙂
